Ha! Its funny how in Bahrain I read an article about how romantic things guys expect girls want, are the sometimes the extreme opposite of the truth ...
Ladies ... do me a favor, I have the highest failure rate known to Dubaian mankind: Check this out ... and filter the crap, help a brother!
Disclaimer: This list came thru mail - so dont mind the cheesiness - i am NOT that bad!

1. Watch the sunset together.

Reason 1: You are probably the only guy I know you who has admitted he doesn't really know what girls want.
Reason 2: You are also probably the only guy I know who admitted he needs help.
So here are my two pence:
Although almost everything seems romantic when you're in love. I think when the items above 40 are slighlty cheesier than the rest because they probably ran out of things to say. So I would personally filter out:
40,43,44,45,46,47 (right, provided you coincidently have the radio on or maybe call them and ask them to switch on the radio coz ud like to hear some music in the background - old!), 48(Fall asleep while on the phone - not ).
These should also go:
8 (same perfume everytime - please), 19 (high school!), 24 (nah), 35 (who cares about your parents at this point :D), 39 (That's really too much).

It's one of these emails you get where you feel your life is not half as lame as you thought it was because someone else actually got to a point in their life where they could come up with that!
Mena, I'm respecting the fact that you admitted to something most men don't and for that reason I will comment on each and every point..
Overall what i can seriously say is let things be, be natural about things, be yourself and the romance will come naturally...If you started to do things cuz the books say you should then you lose that "Real" feeling.. As long as everything you do isn't an attempt to try too hard..
Sorry it may be long and boring but you asked for it..
1. Watch the sunset together: It is a beautiful sight I agree but as long as its not a "darlin I have to take you to watch the sunset and stare right into your eyes while the colours of the sky change in the background" type of thing
2. Whisper to each other. Way tooooo cheesy!
3. Cook for each other. Why are they in a hurry – it will happen eventually (if they're getting married that is)
4. Walk in the rain. Depends if she likes it or not...some people hate the rain walking in it is not nice to them! And remember the hair..heehehe the rain might turn her into a very pissy person! lol
5. Hold hands. This one's a given...
6. Buy gifts for each other. Gifts are okay for reasons and on occasions... Nice gesture – not necessarily romantic though - Money can't buy love
7. Roses. Over rated
8. Find out their favorite cologne/perfume and wear it every time you're together. Not necessary at all...I think this is a more "trying to get that girl (not GF yet) to fall for u" situation... But in gf/bf situation – she'll have gotten used to all the different scents (pleasant and unpleasant) so don't try too hard with this one.
9. Go for a long walk down the beach at midnight. Nice opportunity to have long talks... this one's good...
10. Write poetry for each other. Only if whoever is writing them can really write good ones, they're real and from deep deep within.

actually there's smthng common among all girls that they all have a romantic streak, even if it is not shown, but deep inside she yearns for romance, bas b daragat ta7'talef from one girl 2the other..and when u know ur girl quite well u'll able 2know wht she likes and dislikes, and it wont necessarily b right men awel marra, u have 2try and see.. ;)
Firstly, I'm not a girl. Secondly, I'm not gonna tell you what works and what doesnt cuz to be frank, i personally dont care. all i can say is, be urself. things come naturally. if ur with someone or someone out there is special to you, ull feel the urge to do things that u normally wouldnt do, ull want to spoil them and tease them and flirt. ull want to see them smile and laugh and let loose. if u care about someone that much, itll be second nature for u to go out of ur way to try to do whatever it is u think will make them smile. its not a checklist u go thru...tried that, did that, that didnt work, this one made her slap me...its a feeling. and if u feel it, go for it.
nice tactic for some "female sympathy” mena...3 females & 1 anonymous...few observations:
1. this list is obviously written by a movie fan female - a tacky compilation of cliché scenes from indian and egyptian movies.
2. what the hell are you admitting to man: we (men) don’t know this guy...what can I say…it comes with age & experience my friend

Anonymous and guys: I wish you would have just trusted me to see the end of this but hey ... what to do.
To all - the reason I posted this is ... I got this from a female friend who defended this list, and continue forwarding it. I went through the list - felt that it hit the nearest spot to the 100% scale of BS, and asked myself - hey lets see if the chix actually think this is as cheesy as i believed it to be.
So to some - they thought I am using it as a pickup line, others just thought I was as cheesy as the list - but please look at all this from far away, try to find the big picture: It is not about a list! (.. and to na22ash: even a list will not help me! :))
